Last fresh salad with generative disease

Wind and sea calmed down so we de-reefed the mainsail and unfurled the jib. Temperature is getting higher and air is so humid that not even sweating helps. "That's that happens when you get close to the Equator" and that phrase put a smile back in our faces. Sweat can be washed out with a shower but that smile won't wash away.

Either the sky is playing with us or we keep opening the hatches just before it starts raining. Already 1 book dead and another wounded. No, we don't want to lose the cookbook. They say sailors have one hand for their boat and the other for their families. I guess it's the boats turn... again. We are having a problem with the generator. Micky studied the manual and possibly (and hopefully) found the problem. We will engage the impeller check/change when both engine and gen cool down and Micky and Lalo have some rest.

Meanwhile Janette cooked some "had to go" veggie salad. It tasted wonderful even after the rain dressing (see pic) . But it seems not only the veggies die. A V8 (vegetable drink) can was pierced and bled in the cabinet. All damages repaired and spillages cleared.

If you are wondering about our course and heading. It seems as Micky missed the chance to snorkel in Hawaii so that is why he is taking us straight to the Kingsman Reef. Just 1 day away from our only milestone in the way!
