The sun has finally come out and summer is in the air. I am loving it. I think we are suppose to start thinking about really getting on a boat and actually sailing off into that sunset. How exciting. That excitement could really be felt as we had a bon voyage party with family and friends. It will be a great memory for years to come. I hope everyone there had a great time. Thank you all for your encouragement. Sharing these moments with others makes all the work worth it. It is a sad time as we say goodbye, but it is not forever. We hope to keep in touch with all of you, if not personally through email or phone calls at least through this blog. Again a special thanks to all of you who have helped us prepare, stored our stuff and housed us these past months. We couldn't have gotten this far with out you. Next time you hear from me here we will be in the water and doing one last race for old time sake for the 4th of July race week in Bayfield. Official take off day for the Caribbean; July 1st whether ready or not. I think you should all start hearing from Doug too then. Always a good idea to get a different perspective.
