The Hoodoos
The majority of the Needles area of the park is covered in rock formations called the Hoodoos, An overview here shows these mushroom looking structures. The needles are condensed in one dense section but the Hoodoos sprawl out to cover the rest of the Needles section of the park.
Crosses and Churches
On a whole different subject here you will notice Doug in his Canada shirt. For all you Canadian readers (especially family members) you will be happy to know he has been a big advocate for his native country over here in Europe. This began awhile back in our travels but now he never takes this Canada shirt off. Apparently the US is out of the picture. I however am a native American so have to put in some kind of good word for us. (The problem is Trump, he makes this a difficult thing).
