The list of cities I have seen in the world is growing. As shared before I used to think a city was a city and not my favorite place to be. For sure by the time we left Lisbon I was struggling with a lack of being in the great outdoors. Thankfully we did have that space at the timeshare, and while not in the great outdoors like the mountains it was out of the big city and had walking trails through the small towns and countryside. So I didn't know how I would feel going to Seville but I badly wanted to see the Flamenco dancers. This dance originated in Seville, what better place to get a taste of it. We made a night of it our second evening there booking a dinner show in the El Palacio Andaluz where there was a bigger production going on and afterwards attended a performance at a local club to get a taste of that. Both were good in their own rite. What surprised us were the male dancers. Much like the Irish clogging well known in Riverdance the men are the main attraction. Their footwork is mesmerizing. Flamenco dancing has the frilly dresses and hand clackers but the primary dance involves the clogging. Of course the black haired Spanish men don't hurt their cause.
