Bye bye Port Elizabeth

Sorry for lack of messages but we needed to stop in Port Elizabeth and due to a lot off electrical noise in the harbour my radio connections were not good.

We left yesterday morning and the afternoons sailing was very good with wind from behind and wonderful boat speed. It ran out in the evening and since then it has been slow progress with little wind and now also trying to get across the infamous Agulhas current which is holding us up and pushing the boat more southerly than the course I would prefer. Never the less it can not last forever and hopefully we will get across by end of today.

Due to the sea conditions the boat is bouncing a lot and what ever we do it is done with difficulty, even the typing so I hope to be able to write more fully when seas are calmer.

Till next time.

Allora and crew.
