Remote Address

This is the address to use when sending remote posts to the system.

Remote Subject Key

This value must be in the subject line of the email for the SailBlogs system to accept the post.

Enable Remote Conf Email

Check to receive confirmation email messages on remote posts. This is useful feedback to know that either the system accepted the remote post to the blog, or if there was some error. The confirmation message is automatically sent back to the email address that send the remote post.

Require Remote Editor

If this box is checked, all remote posts will be processed with a view of OFF and will not appear in the live blog (but will be in the administration). When a remote message is processed, an email message is then sent to the Remote Editor (see below) informing them that a message has been posted and should be reviewed and made live.

This feature was designed and is useful for expeditions and sponsored events where a "home operator" should review all posts for content and grammatical errors, etc. before making the post live to the world.

Editor Email Address

The email address of the person reviewing remote posts.
