Hi there! Lilly & Tom here. S/V Tiger Lilly is 1977 CSY44 walkover (hull #55) with a standard rig and deep keel. Tom has owned her since 1987, sailed her over 50,000 miles (including a 1987-1991 Milk Run circumnavigation as S/V Jean Marie), and we are currently getting her ready for a second time around. This time we plan to go south via the Great Capes. We intend to leave Jacksonville for the West Indies in the spring of 2011. After retiring from the Navy in 1987 - and after just minimal repair, no modification, and bluewater gear outfitting - Tom and his family (ex-wife and teenage daughters) set off on a voyage around the world. There is no better teacher than experience, and the extensive overhaul of our boat – after getting some 36,000 miles of experience sailing her - reflect our goals for the next cruise.
