QUESTION: I have MOSS (I kid you not) growing in, on, and UNDER my teak. I was going to just sand it down and oil the hell out of it, but I'm a little worried that the moss may come back. Any ideas?

Mine isn't exactly a salvage boat, but she's currently undergoing a COMPLETE overhaul. 1963 Spencer 35.

My husband and I have just purchased a 41ft 1977 Morgan Out Island sloop, and will have to almost completely refit her. I'm looking forward into making her a top notch live-aboard, and can use all the advice anyone can give us!

My wife and I are re-fitting a '78 Bayliner 2350 Nisqually, with plans to move aboard this spring. Lots of stuff to do inside and out, as this boat was not maintained at all. Advice, ways and means to stuff, or just general fun, we'd enjoy it all.
