Woke to hopes of lighter winds. Dah. It's chicago.
Set out at first light. Wow. Heavy boat. Center cockpit. We felt so high. 20-30 knots of wind made it difficult to make any head way.
Paul was sick. The floor was filled with everything.
I was sore from the day. Bad sleep last night. 20 kn winds all night. No way.
Racine is above spot. No haven't left sight of the boat. Fifty a night. 11 gallons of fuel.
Fixed auto helm. Wheel was applying to much force.
Cleared drain hoses in aft lockers.
Paul whipped a few ropes.
Cleaned up.
Excellent shrimp and chicken curry.
Showers and breakfast. And on our way. I'm glad we pulled in. Playing it safe.
Woke early to light wind in protected marina of Pugh. Racine.
Full moon all night. Will be good for the rest of the way.
Going to get things started shortly. Weather reports look much better
Did I say we had a great sleep.
Fixed auto helm. Slipped c ring. Caused tightened auto. Binding the wheel up.
Adapt and over come. Coming home
