At the border

Bruce / looks like boating weather
Here I sit . At home after working. and working. Did you know work is a four letter word? Think about it.
But the ends to what is really important in Life.
Escapade arrived at the border. Andrews Trucking dragged the boat up from the east side of Michigan .
We went down to Sarnia for just after lunch figuring that we would meet it there when we arrived. Wednesday was the hottest day of the year. It was 35 by early afternoon and then 37 near 6 p.m.
We waited around for a few hours before calling the boss at Andrews. Unknown to him. the state permit directed the driver to stay off the freeway. Four hours late , the exhausted driver (37 degrees), arrived .
We had already cleared customs by paying our hst. The man looked at the boat, looked at the paperwork and said, "your cleared" Wow, easy.
No Broker, we saved 500 bucks, minus the day , minus the gas. still 400 ahead of the game. I think.
We left and drove straight home and planned on meeting having Jacqueline meet the boat the next morning at the marina.
All looked well. See the photo.
