The 4malones have kicked off our next chapter of travels and we are headed back to the states. Mary and the boys left New Zealand via American Airlines, while Whisper and I are now out of sight of land, heading east and trying to catch up.

The trip started auspiciously; I caught three kingfish outside of Auckland and feasted on fresh fish for dinner with leftovers for breakfast. All is well this morning, the seas are moderate with 15 -25 knot from the SW and the boat is trucking along comfortably.

Right now, I am trying not to think about having 8500 miles to go and just enjoying being on a sailboat ride. Maybe I will raid the chocolate stash.
