Still in the North Pacific

We're still here, though no longer slogging upwind as the wind clocked around as expected to a northwesterly. A really nice change, though because we had to tack from Neah Bay for four days, we are much farther offshore than we wanted to be. Could be the reason we haven't seen another boat in over 2 days. Crazy. As far as the eye can see, no land, no boats and only a few airplanes. And I'm strangely ok with that. Thought I'd freak out. Anyhow, not much to report......more dolphins joined us last night during my watch, and all I could see was the trail of phosphorescence left behind them as they sped around the boat. Very cool. We hope to be in SF by Friday, but we'll see how it goes. Ta ta for now.
