We are off and currently about 150 miles south of San Diego and about 75 miles north of Guadalupe Is.
The first 24 hours were some of the best sailing we have seen, beam reaching in 10 -15 knots of wind and we averaged over 6 knots of boat speed. Timothy caught a couple of fish and we settled on a really nice Albacore this morning which was lunch and will be dinner.
Unfortunately, we entered the edge of a squall line a couple of hours ago and the boat is rolling pretty badly with just main up as I type. We hope to arrive and find an anchorage in Isla Guadalupe tomorrow morning.
