130 miles to go

130 miles to go! So close and once again we are nearly windless, sailing at about 3 knots. As long as we keep moving we should arrive by Thursday - everyone is getting excited.
We are seeing more birds and some types found close to land. I feel like Thor Heyerdahl trying to recreate the ancient navigation techniques, those guys were all nuts. The fish are starting to come back as well. After three weeks of fishing without anything to show for it, yesterday we caught timothy's shark, a small bonito, and then late in the night we caught our first Wahoo (we think). It was a predator straight out of the age of dinosaurs, about 4' long and 2" in diameter with a mouth as long as my hand and full of teeth. I was so amazed that I woke up Mary so she could see it too. She stumbled up onto deck, mumbled something about throw it back, carefully took a picture of my feet, and then stumbled back down below. We had a good chuckle over the picture when she woke up this morning.
Daytime temperatures are definitely the hottest so far.
