Surfing the pass

We sailed overnight and arrived yesterday morning at Huahine, the next island downwind of Tahiti.
It is beautiful here and we are settling in and hanging out. The most exciting moment so far was the arrival in the pass. There was spectacular surf on both sides of the pass with surfers paddling out past us. We almost changed our minds and went to another island, but all went well on the way in.
Today was a particularly difficult school day and at 3:30 Timothy is still working on his math and Mom is sitting scowling in the cockpit. Time to send her out alone in the kayak.
