April 2016 Highlights – Staying in the Marina

We continue to enjoy our stay at Lady’s Island with awesome friends and great restaurants. We had a nice dinner at Q on Bay with John & Beth, and Bill & Sandy in downtown Beaufort. Bill and Sandy left us and took “Lucille” north on April 17th. We are up early to assist and say “safe voyage”. We have enjoyed all the time we spent together. See you in November, but the song is “See you in September” Bill and Sandy blew us out of the water on music trivia. Bob and I took day trips to Hilton Head, Savannah, and Charleston – we are in love with this area. Steve and Nancy Sagle have moved their sailboat “Virginia Lee” next to Serendipity. Two really great people who have been here the whole time but when they move close we get to know each other. We shared meals, photos, stories, and assisted each other with boat issues and cures for “no see ums”. Ernie, Terry and Bob Allen “great fellow with a Japanese boat” stop by and we have cocktails. We can’t think of enough good things to say about them. For some odd reason our dock has been labelled the “Party Dock” by some. We are gearing up for our next visitors – Sheri, Jenn, and Connie. They only have a short stay but damn we are going to eat seafood, relax and drink. We WIN!!
