Slowing Heading Back
22 April 2018
We have been taking our time moving through Culebra and Viequez as we move back to PR to haul the boat for hurricane season.
Nice snorkeling off of Luis De Pena island - weird winds and surge though did not stay through the night.
Fish dinners in Esperanza are still a delight - though we have to beach the dinghy to get ashore. Probably be a while before the dinghy dock is back.
Charlotte Amalie
14 April 2018
Started the day with a heavy squall as we journeyed to Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Jose and Craig depart from St. Thomas in the morning.
Had strong winds the whole way down, but not too bad on board since we were going mostly with the wind.
However, the water in the bay was up and we struggled to get ashore and check in through customs. Found the right approach in the end but a bit rough and wet in the dinghy figuring it all out.
Cane Garden Bay
13 April 2018
After swimming we journeyed over to Cane Garden Bay Tortola - conditions were fantastic no swell and a nice breeze. Beautiful beach and had a nice lunch.
First anchorage/mooring with lots of seaguls.
Incredible swarm of Tarpon at the underwater light here.
Sand Spit
13 April 2018
Jose likes beaches - so we made a short stop at Sand Spit near the end of Jost Van Dyke.
Foxies
12 April 2018
Well how could you visit Great Harbour and not stop by Foxies?
Soggy Dollar
12 April 2018
Sailed over to Jost Van Dyke and moored in Great Harbor. We then dinghied down to White Bay and had lunch, drinks, and a swim at the Soggy Dollar
