St. Helena to Brazil Day 6

Another lovely evening sailing last night under the chute. Sailed most of the time between 7-1/2 - 8 knots under a brilliant Milky Way. Especially enjoyed my watch: listening to "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys", enjoying the firmament above and pleasant temps in the low 70's, my best watch of the voyage to date. Today has been more of the same, a bit less sunny today with squalls around here & there. The squalls tend to cause brief periods of wind shifts so we have to be on our toes watching the chute. Doing 8 knots most of the time; just over 1,000 nm to Rio town. Hooked up a small mahi mahi in the morning but could not land it as we were going too fast and it threw the lure.
