Merry Armenian Christmas to all! Christ is Born! We are back safe and sound in DC ready to get back into the swing of things tomorrow. Boat was left this morning at 5:45am, taxi to airport, then flight to Nassau, 6 hour layover where we explored the tourist town (and got over some culture shock from being on the out islands with locals for a few weeks) then flight to DC and at home by 8. Had to run to market for breakfast and lunch supplies tomorrow. Also, all smoke detectors were beeping with low batteries so picked those up too. All family showered and in bed! A long but wonderful day. Back to the grind tomorrow and feeling blessed to share this experience with the family and through this blog. I will be updating it with more details as I review boat journal from weeks past.
