Drive me crazy
26 April 2018
This is a typical dilemma in my life these days. Trying to simplify the plumbing tools/parts/spares I need to carry on board. So I'm starting to replace unnecessary parts for systems on the boat.
Here we have a photo of the the anchor wash, located in the forward lazarette. While I am currently in the process of adding a salt water flush feature (in addition to current fresh water system), I noticed this bundle of different fittings and an opportunity for future leaks and issues.
It took me a while but now I know know that we go from a 15mm pipe to a 1/2 junction to a 3/4 union to a standard garden hose fitting.
Just looked online and found/ordered an adapter to go right from the 15mm to male hose adapter for the new anchor wash.
Consider it simplified!
