32 hours of diesel love later.....we are up and running! Thank you Oscar!

Turns out there were a few minor issues that all seemed to contribute to the major issue of the starter bendix not engaging:

1. Low voltage from starter solenoid (replaced)
2. Bad connections at ignition switch (replaced)
3. Poor electrical ground contact (cleaned)
4. Bendix teeth incorrect match with ring gear by about 1mm (additional "chamfer" added to teeth with bench grinder)
5. Intermittent 24V relay (replaced)
6. Ring gear chipped teeth (replaced)

So, about 15 cranks and no issues so far! Praise the Lord!

Now, time to try to fix the weather....
