Having left Haiti, we anticipated a 4 day passage to San Blas Islands. Unfortunately, we were becalmed at sea the second day out and sat around for 48 hours waiting for the wind to return. Low pressure systems to the north and south of is sucked the air right out of the area.

Due to the length of the trip, we don't have enough fuel to motor so we catch up on boat school and boat maintenance while enjoying some family fun together.

The trip took 7 days rather than 4, and if you're following our tracking, can see where we sat around for a bit. Good news is that we had a +1 knot current so we were generally headed in the right direction!

We also saw some beautiful dolphins this evening that were jumping and flipping all around us!
