V-man hanging out after school with boys from Kioa. We had an amazing time here. It's like a monastery with bells ringing on the island to remind residents to pray, brush teeth, family time, devotional, sports, etc.

They are a peaceful people. Each family are assigned a block or plot in the village and one in the mountains. They farm/fish during the day, work together on island maintenance, and then come together as a community each afternoon for sports games, weaving, cooking, and then meeting st the church for prayer.

A island administrator is elected by council of elders each 4 years and you can just feel the peaceful easiness of life here.

Education is a high priority and the children are very smart and respectful.

As you can imagine, we have stayed here longer than we anticipated and are blessed to be welcomed into their school and community.
