It is really a lovely location at the end of the pier and we are fortunate that our neighbor, Viking sportfisher, Ata Rangi (+/-90 ft) is currently in Auckland for a major refit, so we've had great unobstructed views of the surrounding hills. The concrete floating docks are fantastic-we never need to adjust lines and are well protected from swells. It's super easy to get in and out as long as we time the tides for slack, which can rip around 2 knots in the marina at max ebb.
