So....as one does during lockdown, we kept busy on tracking international boats for sale. It just so happens that there was a larger Oyster sailboat in Auckland and the owner was willing to consider a boat trade! So, long story short (we have been going back and forth since April), the end result is that we have "traded" boats from our dear Aghavni (Oyster 485) to In The Mood II (Oyster 68).

It's quite a jump for us, but we are comfortable with the Oyster yachts and very much enjoy how they handle and perform. The learning curve will be steep, but we have some time here in NZ to shake her down and make repairs.

Doing a boat sale during Covid had its own unique set of challenges.

We're not sure about the boat name yet, still thinking that one through...
