Starting to sail back towards Whangarei for Christmas and we stay a day in Tiri Tiri Matangi. An incredible bird sanctuary with lovely walks and guides for a self-guided home around the island. There is so much to see and beautiful scenery, all just a few hours by boat from Auckland, an area called the Hauraki Gulf.
