The Wind turns on the nose: thank god for that
11 October 2009
Mark Whitehouse / Winds 15knts South Westerly
Still feeling pretty ordinary but have not thrown up since the first episode. We have had following winds for the first day and a bit so the boat has had a really nice churning motion to it to keep the sea sickness topped up. Thank god the wind has swung in the last couple of hours to the South West and we are pretty much on the nose close hauled.
For some reason I find this motion much easier to tollerate and am starting to feel a lot better. Maybe I am just getting my seal legs. Either way I am happy.
Our speed has dropped off quite a bit only averaging 4knts at the moment, I am sure that will pick up again.
Lets push on, life is getting better by the minute.
