Brooke’s Birthday! We actually were lucky enough to celebrate both Emmaline and Brooke’s birthday the other night while they were together, it’s always great to spend time with all of them together. With the poor weather forecast for Thursday we decided to stay put. Katie, Kailey, Brooke and Taylor gave us a ride back to Kittery and visited the boat with us for a while and then we were off to Chauncey Creek for some lobster rolls on the deck. Returning from lunch we saw Eric and Debra walking up the road, so we bid farewell to the kids and joined Debra and Eric for some exploring around town and dinner back on the boat.
Thursday was a rainy maintenance day. The fresh water pump has been acting up... after cleaning strainers, making sure all the feeder lines were clean and clear, and changing both the sediment and carbon filters, things are running smooth. Lesley clean calcium sediment out of the tanks, it was surprising how much there was, the real culprit was all that sediment clogging the 10”filter we have. I took some more shots at getting our radio to accept the GPS position from the plotter, but no luck.
