We built Alcheringa II in the Netherlands in 2002, ande commissioned her in 2003, We been sailing Alcheringa ever since. After crossing the Atlantic, we spent about six years in the Caribbean before transiting the Panama Canal. [...] In 2009 we sailed to Ecuador, leaving Alcheringa there for about six or seven months while we expolerd inland Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. After a brief visit home we returned ot Alcheringa, travling back north to Panama, and then in 2011 set oiff for the Galapagos and French Polynesia
