Bequia, Grenadines

December 27
Casted off by 7am headed towards Bequia, south of St. Vincent. It would be a longer trip thus the early start. We arrived by 2pm. It was breezy and a nice sail. Yet another beautiful island. We opted for a mooring ball and Alex, a boat guy, guided us to one rather close to the channel where the ferries would be going by. He assured us the mooring ball is good for the size of our boat. We stayed on the boat...except for Todd tried to get gas for the dinghy and there's no gas in the island, only diesel. Girls played games and everyone relaxed; Clark studied (he studies everyday as he's registered for the MCAT - Medical College Admissions Test - on his birthday, January 24). Dinner on board and played games.
December 28
After breakfast, Todd, Clark and Paige left by 8:40 for diving. Hazel and I, both not certified divers, stayed on board. After divers returned, we left the mooring ball and headed towards Mayreau - smallest inhabited island of the Grenadines that suffered severe damage with Hurricane Beryl that came through in June 2024.
