Hallowe'en is a couple of weeks away yet but the pumpkin crop has been picked and ready for the party. Everywhere there are huge displays of pumpkins for sale. Shops are full of all the kit - masks, evil looking teeth, wigs, scary hairy spiders, and there are pumpkin carving competitions - even dogs and cats get involved with fancy collars and false ears!

Houses are already decorated inside and out with lanterns and lifesize straw dolls, skeletons sit on the front lawns - it's a lot of fun. Trick & treat, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions - it is all ready for 3lst October.
