Succulent steaks and ribs

These huge steaks are cooked to perfection
Hugh and Delma are up early - their internal clocks still working on Uk time and after a hearty breakfast it's time to get organized to do some provisioning.
We pump up the tyres on our little bikes, borrow two more from the marina and ride the 3 miles into town. The road from the marina is up high and gives a good view of the Sea of Abaco on one side and the busy harbor on the other.
It's a great day for a ride but we had been optimistic as to how many bags stuffed with supplies we could strap to our back without toppling off our bikes. In the end we needed to call a cab.
Packing things away once we were back on board was easy. Alexia has lots of storage space in cupboards, under the floorboards, behind sofas, under the beds - everything has its place and with four of us we were done in no time.
We were ready for a good dinner after our gruelling day and booked our table at the Jib Room Restaurant attached to the marina. Succulent steaks and ribs are the best around.
There's always music after dinner and Jason, the dockmaster, who never seems to go home, leads the music - known in the islands as 'rake and scrape'.
The key instrument is the handsaw plus accordion and a drum - really gets a good sound going.
A limbo bar was then set up - Delma and I tried out best whilst the bar was still at 4' 6" off the ground but realized we needed to be a lot more supple.......then, local celebrity Desmond lowered and lowered the bar until it was just 12" off the ground and, to the roar of the crowd, just dropped backward and went under as easy as you like.
