Charleston SC - Minum Creek : 20 miles
Well, it's goodbye to Charleston and William takes Alexia out of the marina and across the bay from where we continue north on Price Creek to our planned stopping point at McClellanville. With a good following wind the jib is pulling us along at a good five knots.

Sadly, shoaling after Hurricane Sandy had reduced the channel depth at McClennanville to less that five feet at low tide and try as we might we were unable to get in.

It's still early in the day and continuing on we cross the South and North Santee Rivers, into Big Duck Creek and a final turn into Minum Creek where depths allow us to travel in a good half mile before dropping the hook.

As usual, it's just us, the birds and the fish but no internet signal in this remote area.
