Great News Years with the family

We had a great New Years vacation with the kids in the Bahamas.
We spent one day in Nassau and visited the shops and Fort Fincastle. I don't think Bob took that too seriously (check out the cannon photo).
After crossing the Yellow Bank, we spent the rest of the time in Ship Channel Cay, SW Allan's Cay and Highborne Cay.
We had some great snorkeling, seeing rays, sponges, coral and lots of cool fish. We also had a chance to see some remote beaches with only our footsteps disturbing the perfect sand.
SW Allan's Cay is home to hundreds (thousands) of Rock Iguana, an endangered species. They are sort of friendly as they come out of the woods to great you when you land on the island.
Highborne Cay is a very remote resort with a great restaurant, lots of trails and roads and fun things to see (goats and sharks).

It is a huge job to replace the fuel tanks on a boat. Fortunately, they last about 20-25 years. So, we are not likely to ever do this again.
