Tim has been sailing since he was 6 yrs old in the San Francisco Bay area. At 16, he bought a 14' Laser that he raced and placed first several times. [...] After college, sailing was put aside to do some mountaineering, rock climbing & ice climbing which included Alpamayo Peru, Nepal, Mooses tooth Alaska, Matahorn Switzerland, Mt.Blanc France and Mt.Logan Canada. Tim climbed all the 14ers in Colorado, several alone. Tim also biked across America unsupported, and paraglided for several years.
Susan loves to travel and has visited such countries as India, Italy, East Germany, Japan, Phillipines, Denmark, Hungary, Austria....During her 20s, Susan was a Skydiver at the Winchester drop zone in Canada and obtained her advanced scuba diving certification. Susan moved from Montreal to Colorado to enjoy the great telemark and backcountry skiing. There, she learned how to rock & ice climb and hiked several peaks. Susan enjoyed rock climbing in Gorge Du Verdon France and in Peru. When Tim & Susan met, they climbed together in the Tetons & Nepal to mention of few places. Since they live near Lake Dillon, they decided to sail together and joined the Dillon Yatch club in Colorado and race most week-ends in the summer.
