Final weekend of preparation

The boat is nearly ready and now we can finally put on board all the provisions we need - and there's a lot of it for a crew of 4. Delicious smells from our kitchen as Nicky cooks up a series of tasty treats for our evening meals on passage; the freezer is filling up with a plan to take frozen main meals to last the first few days. The photo shows but a small part of our stores with much already safely stowed on board. For sure we will not go hungry. Boys banned from the galley apparently - we might mess it up! I'll just stick to checking the engine oil then.
Excitement is rising as we start now to watch the weather systems and hope for a calm passage to Horta.
