Refurbishing continues

Work on Sunshine continues. Santos and his crew have finished the bottom work... for now. At some point after we get down there we'll have to find the best place to haul her completely out of the water for a while so that a permanent repair can be made.
As for now, they are almost finished with the deck repair and re-surfacing of the non-skid. He will also be having someone completely clean and repaint the engine soon.
As for back home, we continue to get what work needs done on the house. This past week was extremely busy with both Bridget and Micah having their transition ceremonies, Bridget graduating from 6th grade, Micah from Kindergarten. I had my Dr.'s apt. up at the Soo on Wednesday, Friday morning I went in to Micah's class to give a short presentation about our upcoming trip and about living on a sailboat and a bit about what El Salvador is like, enough to try to relate to 3-6 year olds. They actually were quite interested and especially fascinated when I told them our boat would just fit on their playground from the door to the fence- about 50'!
All that as well as the usual weekly busyness. This week should be less hectic- but that remains to be seen.
