One MORE Day~

15 March 2008 | Bahia del Sol, El Salvador
Amy~ Sunny, Hot, Beautiful
Okay- manana- means tomorrow- it comes with the territory down here. Here's a brief summary.... yesterday after posting that we would be leaving today, I spent nearly 4 hours at the hotel on the Skype phone with Continental/ Cheep Tickets trying to get my dad's flight moved back a few days since much of the reason we needed to postpone leaving was due to the fact that the luggage with our supplies was 2 days late, and some of those supplies were items we needed to get the boat ready to go- especially the 500' of line for our sails- kinda hard to sail without THAT!
Finally got through to a manager at Cheep Tickets who was very helpful and talked to a Continental representative about our situation and got them to change his flight WITHOUT the fees. I could change his ticket no problem, but I was really trying to get them changed without the fees since it was the luggage being late/the airlines fault that we needed to change his ticket to begin with.
Anyway, since I was here all afternoon yesterday, I had the dinghy and they were busy anyway finishing up the dagger boards and other things, that they were not able to get all the water brought on board for our water tanks or the fuel for the engine- kinda important too!
So tomorrow we leave- I really hope the aura of this estuary does not follow us after we pull up anchor. And from here on out, it will be smooth sailing....
well, one can hope.... can't we?
