Halleluhia!!! Diesel is running! I won't bore you w/ my cleaning details, but each day I spend hours wiping down walls, cupboards, etc. w/ bleach water. I also sanded down the areas I epoxied & fiberglassed the other day & then put 2 coats of primer on them & also on several other areas that Jim had down on our original voyage last year. I kept hearing in my head a friend's catch phrase who's in my BNI networking group, Rob Banks from Able Painting in Traverse City, "quality, cleanliness, integrity- garaunted." I'm sure Rob would have done a much better job than I did! Maybe he'll help us do some of the other painting needed once we get to MI, & we'll take him & his wife out for a sunset dinner cruise! She actually is starting to look nice! We'll beach Sunshine tomorrow, scrape her bottom, Jim has a new bigger prop to put on, & also put in the new transducer for the depth sounder. Big day tomorrow! And then we'll move over to the Playita anchorage Friday morning & prepare to go through the canal!
