We had our inspection today for the cleats, cleanliness, & other details for the canal transit. Our inspector, a Frenchman from Texas, figure that one out, anyway, John Mercier, he was very nice & we're hoping he'll also be our canal advisor on the day of our transit. We were hoping also to hear back from Pete, our agent this afternoon to let us know what day we'll be transitting. But we didn't. I hate not knowing things! Details, info! I want to know what's going on! Any chance of hearing from Pete tomorrow- Sunday? Doubt it, but we'll try his phone and see. Sunshine is actually starting to look nice! With the new coats of primer, the cleaning, we bought some new floor mats, I brought down a blue tablecloth for the larger makeshift table that Jim made way back in El Salvador, but is still nothing more than plywood, but put the tablecloth on & it looks so much nicer. We've also used the primer on some small interior areas to cover up some rust spots, & other areas needing a coat of paint. I'm actually starting to like Sunshine again!
