How quickly the disconnection happened! At 12:01AM today, our cell phone service was suspended. We knew it was coming. However, I thought it was going to be tomorrow. I tried to send my sister a text message asking her to call me when she gets off work today as it is, or so I thought, our last day with service. The text message did not go through and I started to wonder...oh no! A day early...I am not prepared! I tried to then call her in hopes it was just a bad connection. No dice. We were completely disconnected.

It is a strange feeling of separation now. Even more than our tearful goodbyes almost two months ago at the start of the trip. We were planning on calling around the circle of immediate family and giving our last vocal goodbyes. Sorry guys, we cannot and now it is to email for our communication.

This was the next step...I just don't remember sleep walking last night.
