On May 3rd we left the Bahamas bound for the US. Five days later we arrived in Beaufort, NC. Twenty four days later we arrived in a little place we like to call...home. So as I said in the title of this entry, chapter one of our adventure is over and we cannot wait to get started on the rest of the story. Soon, I will post again and tell about the weeks in between Beaufort and home. But for now we are busy soaking up the feelings of excitement while seeing family and friends and adjusting to the firm ground they all live on.
