Well it can't be all work and no play! Halloween was way too much fun for the Drunk Hunter and the Deer In The Headlights. It was nice to cut loose and think of other things for a night.

We are at our friends Dan & Kelly's dock in Chisman Creek, Yorktown staging for departure. We are anxiously watching weather and Hurricane Tomas as we wait for an adequate window to Bermuda.

We still need to:

Splice/Run New Halyards
Finalize the Preventer
Troubleshoot Fresh Water Leak
Tune Rig
Finish Lee Cloths
Re-Install Rub Rails
Make Courtesy Flags
and more...

I did some shopping this week which sounds fun. But do not be fooled! It is NO fun at all! By the end I abandoned my overloaded cart because it no longer made turns and ended up hand carrying items to where it sat. After checkout, which is painful by itself, I had to get it home, offloaded, down the dock and onto the boat! THEN I had to put all of the crap away! Hopefully I will remember where the bamboo shoots are when I decide to make curry.
