Summer seems to be the most uninspiring time for me to write. It has been A MONTH since my last post...sorry. We're now in a slip at our favorite marina in Mathews, Mobjack Bay Marina. It is not a fancy place...it just feels like home to us. We kept our Tanzer here before we graduated to Anastasia and the charm brings us back every time we are near. This year we are in a slip and Anastasia has donned her trashy tarps and window-unit AC. It is the only way we can bear the heat since being so far up the river and into the creek cuts off nearly ALL breeze.

For us the next few months will be filled with summer employment to pad the kitty for next season's adventures. So no fun sailing or exploring stories here for now. As the scum grows on the bottom so does our anticipation for heading south once more!
