Finally

We finally made it back out with our friends. It’s been a long time between me being in Missouri, Kim being in Minnesota, workers here at the Elysian, high winds, etc. We started out the day with a motor sail over to Jost under double reef main. Coming through the Cut between Lovongo and St John, the currents were going against the winds and piled up the waves. It was pretty rough going through these and we got quite a salt water bath. But we made it through and pulled into Jost. The Customs officer (Mark) took the time to thank us for coming even though the BVI government starting charging a $10 per person environmental tax. So it cost us $60 to clear in. Hopefully this will change. We took a taxi over to Whites Bay and spent most of the afternoon there. The locals are all very appreciative of us being there. They are hurting since the storms. Picture is part of Kim relaxing on the beach
