A night to remember

We were guests of the Pat and Alistair at the Domus, an ancient lodge set within Beaulieu Abbey, once home to an order of Cistercian Monks. The event was glorious. Alistair's special words of love for Pat at dinner were as magical as they were eye moistening.

We meet many in our lives but only a few make a lasting impression on our minds and in our hearts. These are the ones we think of often and who do remain important to us as friends.



The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
