Floating around Sydney Harbour

Cam "H"
After watching the Australia Day festivities from Berry Bay we motored back to Iron Cove to get a few extra provisions, while we were there a catamaran by the name of Jigsaw one of the boats that we met in the Go West Down Under Rally came into the cove and anchored alongside with Phil and Fay, they were there for the same reason as us.
Sam our canvas trimmer contacted us and asked if we could move to Rose Bay to pick up the new frame for our bimini as it was too big to transport in his car all the way to Iron Cove. Not long after we had anchored in Rose Bay Sam gave us another call and he wanted us to go around to Rushcutters Bay to pick up the frame. We motored back to Rushcutters, anchored, launched our dinghy and finally picked up the frame which was about twice as long as our dinghy, it was a bit of a wrestle keeping it in the dingy for the trip back to Annecam and a struggle lifting it on board. Once it was secured we motored back through the entire Friday evening yacht regatta to Rose Bay, anchored again, picked up Sam in the dinghy so he could install the new frame. There was a slight difference with the hardware size to connect the new frame to Annecam so Sam will complete the frame when he gets hold of the right size hardware, the completed bimini should give us a lot more protection than the old one we have.
The photo, excuse my back but this is some of the flags we flew on Annecam for Australia Day.
We cannot discover new oceans or new lands if we do not have the courage to lose sight of the shore.
