Just for our Northern Hemisphere readers who are having a big freeze at the moment, the ones who I see shoveling snow, chipping ice of their boats and trying to keep warm, we are about to do the opposite here in Australia.
The weather forecast for the next few days is going to be unbearable for a large part of the country as an extreme heatwave should see temperatures rise. This will be a stark contrast to the weather we have here in Sydney, it is a warm, 25c and wet as we have frequent showers from the weather system over us right now.
Most of the Eastern half of inland Australia including parts of Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria are expected to cop it the worst for the next few days, with temperatures predicted in the high 30s to possibly mid-40 degree mark, just for our readers who are still operating using Fahrenheit, that would be about 95f to 114f. This heatwave is expected to impact on the Eastern seaboard, making life a bit uncomfortable.
