Slow Flow

Slow morning of rain and discussions with checking and loan banks to track down lost payment on Hylas 46. Have been fighting this for two months with no satisfaction, but light ahead may finally be end of tunnel.
After accessing locker below one section of toe rail, discovered there is no way water could have gotten in to leave salt deposits that have now been cleaned up. Bafflement ensues. Investigation proceeds today upon return from bike ride to Bad Ass Coffee Company.
Not all disappointing news as new lithium battery has not overheated and burned boat to waterline. Life is good.
*** Effluent Alert
Perhaps we've been gone too long to have seen this inspiration in US, but USVI toilets have solved issue of stoppages from deposits of either excessive extrusions or overzealous application of cleanup materials. When pressing flush handle, before water is poured in from above, a blast boils up from below to loosen any coagulated chunks that may have formed. Immediate result, as entire deposit burps and swirls in the bowl, is pretty disgusting, but effectively dislodges any clots and promptly allows a smooth flow through drain and out of immediate vicinity. If flushing prior to standing up, one might need additional swabbing, otherwise suggest closing lid first.
