One Thing Leads To Another

Been here for only a week and already bored. Could perform projects on boat, but that would require getting off lazy keister.. guffaw, snort. And now, just as work ethic shows a glimmer of nascence, weather forecast for next two days crushes any chance of execution. Perhaps a bourbon and ginger ale will help ferret out a solution to this conundrum (no member of the family Mustelidae including, but certainly not limited to, stoats will be harmed in this endeavor).
Speaking of which, Amalias (who have now tested negative for covid, but as date on test was incorrect and upcoming weather does not allow departure to Bahamas for a couple days making future testing necessary) will remain as illegal aliens for awhile and have invited us for sundowners this evening on their Hallberg Rassy. Similarly to Jan they can't leave and can't stay. Lone American can't, without a passport, leave, but can at least remain in the bosom of his home country (separated appropriately enough into left and right, but unfettered by any fashionable restraint) without fear of judicial inconvenience.
Speaking of which, passport renewal, applied for in September and promised in ten to twelve weeks, is now in the zone. Expect possession before Christmas. Confidence in government efficiency knows no bounds and is therefore over the moon.
Speaking of which, Saturn and Jupiter will appear closer together in the early evening western sky toward the end of this month than at any time since medieval times. Many of you weren't even born then and probably won't remember to look when it happens again in a few hundred years so this may be your only shot.
Speaking of which, it's being bandied about that, given the rapid advances in biological sciences, if one can live another thirty years he can probably then live for three hundred. Go for it!
